TwentyCi were recently commissioned to work with one of the UK’s leading energy providers to supplement boost their existing marketing activity with an acquisition programme targeted exclusively at home movers. As data providers of nearly 100% UK home mover market coverage, and with insight into every stage of a home mover journey, we were ideally placed as the perfect partner for this project.

 

Reaching new home movers in the energy market

We developed a programme that targeted prospective customers most likely to be in the market for a new energy provider at three optimum moments –

  • 4 weeks pre-move – enabling our client to start building rapport with the home mover ahead of their move, outlining the key benefits of selecting them as their energy provider of choice for their new home
  • On-move – during the week of move, deploying tactics to allow our client to be front of mind for the home mover at their exact point of moving home
  • 4 weeks post-move – a follow-up strategy to engage with any home movers not happy with the energy provider inherited with their new home

 

Compelling results

The project was a great success, with the programme generating an immediate return on investment delivering £13:00 for every £1:00 invested. Further optimisation of the activity has been focused on the type of property with which the energy provider generates the greatest engagement.
